Aka The Unabomber is a Professional Poker Player and married to actress Jennifer Tilly and WSOP Ladies Event Bracelet Winner.

Phil was born in Dublin, Ireland and raised on the east coast, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Phil has one notable win and 2 final tables which is the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational in February 2004. The following year at the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Laak finished second to Johnny Chan in the $2,500 pot limit hold 'em event.

Phil also won the William Hill Poker Grand Prix, taking home the £150,000 first prize and beating Britain's Ram Vaswani in the process.

Laak's nickname, the Unabomber came about, because of the hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses he wears at the poker table, making him resemble the forensic sketch of Theodore Kaczynski who was known as the Unabomber.
