Annette Obrestad - Winner of WSOPe Main Event

The winner of the Main Event of the WSOPE (World Series of Poker Europe) on Tuesday night is a 18 year old woman from Norway by the name Annette Obrestad.

Annette Obrestad beat seasoned players on her way to the top, the bracelet and the £ 1,000,000 ($2,013,102). Obrestad, known online as "Annette_15", has won more than $800,000 in online poker tournaments and FTSOP and WCOOP titles too.

In winning she also managed to break two other records which were set by Annie Duke. Woman who has won most money at the WSOP events and secondly being the largest Poker tournamnet ever won by a woman previously held by Annie Duke after her win at the Tournament of Champions ($2million)

Annette Obrestad Looks set to become a power in poker for some time yet especially as Betfair have signed Annette up. Betfair will be sending Annette Obrestad all over the world playing poker and promoting Betfair.
