Kathy Liebert(b. October 1 1967 in Nashville, Tennessee) Kathy Liebert is a Professional Poker Player and the First woman to win $1,000,000. With a batchelors degree in buisness and finance she was soon working for Dun and Bradstreet after a while and unfulfilled with the rat race she quit her job to persue other avenues. Having had a string of succesful stock investments she was able to leave and travel. Her first poker win was the Party Poker Million event in 2002, the first Limit Poker tournament with $1,000,000 prize money. Kathy Liebert has also made the final table at several World Poker Tournament (WPT) including a 3rd place finish at the Borgata Poker Open. Kathy has also won the Poker Royale: Battle of the Sexes to claim the $100,000. Kathy Liebert also has a blue belt in Karate and coaches Poker to Actor James Wood. WSOP Bracelet Liebert has won a World Series Of Poker (WSOP) Bracelet in the $1500 Limit Hold'em Shootout Event 2004. |
